We envision a sustainable supply chain and work towards this goal by adopting solutions that increase the efficiency of transport processes, creating a win-win situation: for people, companies, and the environment!
We’ve already started
- We have upgraded our fleet with Euro 5/6 trucks to reduce emissions. (Investments of €300,000 during 2022-2023)
- We have acquired 9 electric ECO VANs with zero emissions for deliveries in the commercial triangle of Athens and Piraeus. They will soon be available in Thessaloniki as well.
- We have adopted a smart routing system aimed at maximizing load capacity and easing traffic congestion (reducing road traffic).
- We invested in an Urban Distribution Center (city logistics) in the Agios Ioannis Rentis area, covering 3,000 m², for the consolidation and grouping of loads with the goal of reducing energy consumption and delivery routes.
- Every year, we carry out tree planting initiatives as a small contribution to the environment.
- We follow a paper recycling policy and recycle packaging materials after use.
- Annual measurement of the carbon footprint for our vehicle fleet has begun, aiming to calculate the total CO₂ emissions.
- We have been certified with ISO 14064-1:2018 for CO₂ management.
- Our target is to achieve a 15% reduction in energy consumption throughout all activities over a five-year period.
- Together with you, we enhance supply chain practices to become more sustainable and environmentally friendly.
